Charnwood Nursery School is part of Operation Encompass, a partnership between schools, settings and Greater Manchester Police to support children and families affected by domestic abuse.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is notified by the Police when a child has experienced or been affected by a domestic abuse incident. This information is treated confidentially and allows us to provide appropriate support to the child and their family.

We are committed to ensuring all our children feel safe, supported and cared for.
