Charnwood Trust has been a registered charity (Charity Number 1164896) since 1973, and currently operates in Stockport in Greater Manchester. The “Objects of the Charity”, in today’s rather than 1973’s terminology, are:

To provide early years learning for children up to age 7 years and family support, especially where children have a disability; and to promote the material mental and spiritual welfare of such children.

In an average week, through the Nurseries and Opportunity Groups, Charnwood is meeting those objectives with around 250 children and their families, as well as the contact it has with others not currently coming to Charnwood.
